Asks the user to provide the remaining options not specified via CLI
Imagine user can supply some options via CLI arguments, but your application need more. For each remaining unspecified option, this module will call your Promise-returning function, filling the blanks and finally resolving with all options set.
Requires Node version 6 or above.
npm install --save @cypress/questions-remain
Two-step use. First give it a mapping of "property" (or "option") names to Promise-returning functions to call if the option is not set. Then call with options collected from CLI.
// askUsername and askEmail are your functionsconst propertiesToQuestions =username: askUsernameemail: askEmailconst questionsRemain =const ask =// imagine parsing CLI optionsconst argv = processargv
The above program can work right away without any prompts if the user calls
app --username john --email firstname.lastname@example.org, or it will ask questions
